Google toolbar Question

I had a problem with the google search engine , the tool bar went walkies.
I have managed to restore it but there is an irritating drop down menu that tries to guess what you are typing in the search window.

I am sure this wasn’t there before.

How can I get rid of this feature?

The only change I have made to google recently is to activate the auto form filling option.

I have unticked the drop down search history box in the google tool bar options menu but this has no effect
Any advice would be most welcome
Many thanks Ray

Click on the Google logo, and Options. Uncheck the Drop Down Search History box and click OK.

Best thing I can suggest is to uninstall and try reinstalling it from scratch. Remember to restart the computer before reinstallation (to clear out any files in need be).
