everytime i type something into the ggogle toolbar it list all my previous search entries
how can i prevent this?

T clarify, you can actually click on the word Google itself, at the left hand end of the toolbar - Then select clear search history.

Click on the little arrow immediately to the right og the word Googl.From the drop down menu select Options and then the Search tab.

Now remove the tick from the "Save the search history across browser sessions" box.

Every time you close your web browser the Google search history will now be cleared.

Well it works on mine, in IE and FF and always has!

You mean you don't get the drop-down menu when you click, or it doesn't clear the search history when you click on that?

You do mean the toolbar, and not just the google search page?
