Hi,
I have just got a new google mail account, Now i have 2 or so emails that I want to keep for reference, The only problem is I cant see a button or a way in which i can make a folder to store the emails in,

Can someone please tell me how I can keep the emails somewhere out of my inbox, but still be able to access them at a later date

Thanks
Ben

Gmail does not allow you to create extra folders, they use labels instead.
Open Gmail, click on help, your inbox, how do I create folders, this will explain it.

Hi Internetwhizzkid , why don't you download and install Thunderbird and configure it to download your googlemail emails instead , that way you have a copy of everything locally on your desktop/laptop . click here for set up details .
