Google Chrome shockwave crash in XP

I keep getting this error in a banner below the address bar. Sometimes it produces a pop up error message but it doesn't close down chrome. On a few occasions it causes the pc to restart. Is this to do with flash? Do I need to upgrade or remove something? I use registry cleaners often. Firefox and IE7 just shuts down completely, at least with chrome I can press enter to clear the error message and continue. IE7 doesn't seem to crash as much but then I use it a lot less. So at the moment I'm switching between these 3 browsers with chrome being the most reliable.
