Google Chrome AutoFill

I use Google Chrome and until recently had no problems with it, but recently AutoFill insists on changing the UK phone number format from the 01xxx to the international +44xxx format. I can't find any way of making it stay as 01xxx as most web forms won't accept the +44xxx format. Any ideas?

I tried the solutions in northumbria61's link and couldn't find one that actually worked, but after fiddling about with entering the number in different ways, with and without the 01, with a space between the area code and number, it finally seemed to stay as I want it. I can't be sure but I think I clicked away from the input box before I clicked OK. I'll see if it stays that way over the next few days.
