You spoke of a place holder with a red cross in it, Right click on this and make a note of the URL, then compare and check the the image file is where is say's it & that it's the correct format eg *.jpg, *.gif or *.png

Post the URL of the problem page if you would like further advice

URL for place holder:

Can't find that folder

Image is uploaded to:

If I go back to edit the html page an insert a link in the image, should it be the click here.

Sorry about this, but I'm a real novice

Uummm..

I've just uploaded another couple of pages and the images for those are fine.

I think I need to redo the problem page and see if it comes out.

Before I go, any many thanks to all of you who have given your time to try and help.... how do I include a button on my webpage to take you back to the index?

After a lot of fiddling and some trial and error, I have completed 99.9% of my website.

I can't seem to get the Index hyperlink right!!!

All of the other pages are my own construction, but the index page is a site builder one.

Can you have a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Your images are not displaying. The reason is incorrect code. here is your code. <IMG SRC="file:///f:/leefarr ltd/website/html pages/image14.jpg" WIDTH=100 HEIGHT=100>
You can see that the path is incorrect.
Assuming you have loaded the image to the images directory - the code should be - <IMG SRC="images/image14.jpg" WIDTH=100 HEIGHT=100>

I see what you mean. When i checked last night (3:30 am) All images where there and i didn't notice they were coming from my own hard drive.

I had uploaded all the images to the images file.
This is the location of the graphics card image

But when I copy it and paste it into my file it either goes somewhere in the middle of the text and spoils the layout, or somewhere round the outside.

I know I must be missing something really silly, but i can't think whats it is?

in two forum areas - it creates confusion. I've transferred the one from Helproom to here, and now I'll lock this one.
