good html validator?

Can anyone recommend a good W3C validator that I can download/buy and use on some pages I need to get right as valid HTML 1? I know there is html tidy which you can use online on the W3C validation page but I'd like one on my pc and I'd like to be able to see the numbered lines when it refers to them. Thanks anyone!
