Gmail Spam

I am getting quite a lot of spam to my gmail account.

I think it is all from the same spammer, because the emails all have the same kind of subject and contents.

But the spam comes from different email addresses.

Is there some way I can block this spammer?

is 'No'.

Everyone who knows about such things was aware that Gmail accounts would be an obvious target for spammers, and that's proving to be the case. Not everyone with a Gmail account has a problem, but huge numbers do, and the reasons are probably name-related. You're far less likely to be spammed if you have a very unusual prefix to your gmail suffix.

There's not a great deal that you can do about it I'm afraid.

I agree with FE.

I get an average of 10 per day.

Probably because I use a name as a prefix.

Same here but about 99% is caught and sent to my spam box.

I think the FE is right on the prefix thingy. I get very little GMail should get yourself an 'animal'breath moniker and banish the spam!! LOL
