Gmail e-mail,not from me

  iqs 23:02 01 Jun 08

I have been receiving mail failure notifications in my gmail.

The message states that the e-mail I tried to send failed because the e-mail address was wrong?.

I have not sent any e-mails to the address included in the notification. So why is this happening?.Any ideas please.

Can you post up the email contents and headers (the address bits).

How do you get your gmail. Do you use Pop to the likes of Outlook or Thunderbird or do you use the webmail at click here?

It could be some sort of scam however if you post up the message it may be possible to find another possible reason.

it's probably just Spammers have spoofed your addy so that you get the returned mail. Nothing you can do about it.
Just delete it, it happens to us all (eventually)

p.s. (I should have said) after you have ascertained that your pc is not infected and the mail is not being generated from your pc - (as per Astec123 has/is advising you how to find out)
