hi can any one tell me what glue parts are
my computer was wiped
and will no longer load win xp home
i keeps cpming up glue parts missing

the drive was wiped with a maxtor hard drive test
i think it wrote zeros to the drive
i fdisked & formated to reinstall xp home
but keeps coming up glue parts error

You have a Maxtor HD and the installation disk for XP Home?

Whatever you have actually done is certainly not as expected.

Can you boot from a "Maxblast3 floppy" ---(download from the maker's site and put the result on a floppy)--- and try and partition and clear the HD with that?

Once that is done you should be able to install from the XP CD.

You need to remove Max Blast with the Software you put it on with before Windows can do anything with the Drive. If you cannot figure it out reinstall Max blast

Some manufacturers have special BIOS instructions and ways of recovery which though meant to make it simple, just sometimes have the opposite result!
