Ok thank you to yet again a rapid response for putting my mind at rest aobut my ealrier post relating AGP card on this board I now have just two more steps to check/configure before fitting the board.

The CPU Speed setup on manual-page No 10. Just a peace of mind to check I am doing things right.

The CK_Ratio is set as defualt I am using a AMD Athlon XP2200 1.8GHz 266 FSB CPU. This CK_Clock Ratio setting has 6 swithces. Am I correct in adjusting the swicth Numbers 2, 4 & 6 to ON position so the 6 switches are 1=x, 2=O, 3=x, 4=o,
5=x, 6=O (ok if you like OXO Cubes)

The second and final check is the SW1 switch currently at defualt setting at On which I understand is for a CPU which has a 200FSB.

With me using a 266FSB do I change it to the AUTO setting which is OFF/Auto ?.

Again thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

Sw1 should have no jumpers on for 133/266 mhz.

Leave the multiplier at auto and see what it reads. It says that max multiplier is 12.5. I think you need 13.5 for it to run at 1800mhz.

The manual I have says only five switches?

Are you sure yours has 6??

If it does, pick the multiplier setting for 13.5.

e.g. 133 mhz x 13.5 multiplier = 1795.5 Mhz cpu.

There is no Jumper its a Dip Switch & the manual states the board/CPU can support a multiplyer upto 18x.

hi again diamandx

set ck ratio switch to 1 to 4 off 5 on which is the auto setting, that way the mobo will read info from cpu and switch SW1 to 1 & 2 to off for 133 (266)
