Gigabit eathernet OR linksys 10/100 Eathernet?

  Mysticnas 10:22 01 May 03

this may sound like a silly question.. but..

i just recently brought a new network card as a matter of urgency. It's a Linksys 10/100. Now i've ordered a new motherboard which has a Gigabit eathernet built in.

Which one is better?

i assume the Gigabit one is as it's 10/100/1000???

Basically i have a home network, my pc is the host, and we use a longshine palm hub. All the cables are verified for gigabit eathernet.
