Gif image instead of webpage ttitle

I am having some trouble when clicking on various links on webpages or in emails. I click on the link, the webpage is having trouble loading, and eventually comes up blank with the words
"(GIF Image, 1x1 pixels)" on the webpage tab (Firefox 3.6)

The actual webpage address is too long to fill in here, by that I mean the one in the address bar.

Recently I have updated Firefox so could this be the problem?

I am using Kaspersky Security 2010.

Any help appreciated cos I'm not getting my browsing done like this!

Apparently, disabling antibanner in Kaspersky might solve this problem.
