ghost windows in bottom bar

  Bandy 18:56 12 Nov 04

Just recently my second machine, running Win 98SE, has started showing a number of "ghost" windows in the botton bar - sometimes they can run to 15 or so of them.

They don't appear to be a problem, just click on them and they go away. But what are they, and why are they there, and how do I stop then appearing? Has anyone any ideas?

By the way this machine is networked to two others

Some of us get get up, it's one of 98 Foibles. I only get one on odd occasions

Thamks for the comment but what is get up.

I thought the problem was probably associated with 98SEs memory functions but wondered if anyone had found a solution
