Have an internal Iomega Zip drive on Windows Xp on Athlone 1800.

Just purchased Ghost 2003 which will backup and restore to hard drive using windows to backup or Dos floppy.

It will not backup to CDR rewriter unless I copy to hard drive.

I can live with this but it will not backup to Zip drive directly which i maintain it should.

I have added guest.exe to floppy and load this before it starts loading ghost.exe.

It starts copying to floppy but fails halfway through.

Guost technical offer no sensible advice and there discussion groups do not have much on Zip drives. Your help please.

I have Win98 and a 1Gb Jaz drive, but these days I "Ghost" to a second HD and very occasionally copy that to a cd

Surely your Zip is too small to accept a whole drive copy?

The manual does have a series of DOS switches to allow you to use a series of Zip drives for the whole image.
