i have windows xp but need to use ms access 97 to run with a third party application. i have reinstalled ms office 97 (with access). all office programs work but not access. it says "set up was unable to detect a retail copy of ms access on this machine. please rerun ms access set up. if this utility is till unable to detect ms access is installed on this machine, please contact ms technical support", this is written in a "licence repair utility" dialogue box. suggestions welcome.
