Getting Sky TV on my PC

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me here please,

I know a few people who have Sky TV running through their PC in real-time and I would really love to enable this option on my own computer.

However, I have asked these people how it is done and no-one seems to be able to give me a straight answer. I'm in an area where TV reception is rubbish so we have sky to combat that, but I'm not sure how successful a desk-top aerial would be considering the coverage is so poor. Is there a way to link the PC to the sky dish? Is this legal?

I can access Sky Movies & Sport on my PC through Sky Broadband but it is the other, everyday channels I would really like access to.

Thanks in advance!

Janet

You can purchase a TV Tuner/Card. This will let you plug your Sky™ Box into your PC.

Pinnacle PCTV 50i, its a little confusing to install but works in the end. Using it on a laptop.
