Getting rid of windows warnings

All of a sudden when I go to a lot of web sites I get warnings such has webpage not being delivered securly, also something about revocation, active x also comes up. Is there a way I can stop these?

Check that the clock in the bottom right hand side of your monitor is showing the right time and date.

Yes Chronos the 2nd they are correct. I should also say I'm using Windows 7.

Assume that you are using Internet Explorer (the browser is more relevant that W7). Which version of IE?

Open IE, Tools, Internet Options, Security Tab, click on reset all zones to default level and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't then you may need to make more security changes.

Thanks Woolwell I've tried the lowest security settings, it did not help i've now changed back. On the warnings window it looks like I have to click on details and then select install the certificate, this has worked for one site.
