Getting rid of a programme

  menopaws1947 10:05 02 Nov 10

I did a stupid thing and downloaded Bearshare, did not pay much attention, did custom instead of advanced download - unfortunately let it take over as homepage and search engine.

Have uninstalled it plus it's Mediabar, went into Internet Options and changed back to Google chrome - but this bearshare won't go. I have Windows 7.

Can anyone please help.

Put the following into google - 'remove bearshare completely' and you will find pages and pages of advice.

Ignore last.

yes every time i tried to change back to google pressed both Apply and Ok.

Did look online, last night, for solutions, but a lot did not work and some were too complex or not for Windows 7.

Usually advice given in here works for me so thought would try.
