Im on Ntl Broadband 150k. Today since i've woke up i have had problems with it. My connection is fine, but after around 20 minutes my connection will just fail and i'm disconnected from msn messenger etc. When trying to reconnected to Msn it tells me i'm behind a firewall, and when trying to get to a website the pagedoes not load. However everytime i reboot my computer the connection once again is fine until a further 20 minutes. I don't have a firewall on the computer so i don't know what the problem is. Please can someone answer this.

Thanks In regards

are you using? If it's WindowsXP you do have a firewall.

Hi on the off chance update your antivirus programme and run a scan. You never know. ....Peter

Click on control panel, select internet properties, click on conections and then settings.Under dial up, click on advanced, and see if it is set to disconnect if idle for 20 minutes. Try altering this figure; also have a nose round the other settings and see if there is anything there that might be causing the problem.
