Get rid of that DAMN address

Im running Windows XP
How do I get rid of an Address from the internet address bar?
Deleting the History/Recent files/ dont help

Either try dropping the list down, highlighting but not clicking it and then hit delete on your keyboard.

are you trying to start with a different home page if so tools/ internet options /general tab/homepage / type in adress of new home page/use current/ apply /ok

right click on exploer icon - properties - content tab - auto complete - clear forms

this should do the trick

Start > Run > Type: regedit

Work your way to the following key:

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-57989841-573735546-839522115-1004\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

See if the address is there and right click delete.

If the above is different to your regedit.

Ctrl+f and type TypedURLs then you should be able to see you the address that you can not gt rid of.

Tap f3 to search for more TypedUrls

Backup the reg click here

Also give the computer a scan with adaware click here
