Get my Dell in Safe Mode?

  blackburnrover 16:14 05 Feb 06

I need to get my comp in safe mode so I can try to get rid of some bugs however when I get in the boot menu by pressing F12 there is no SAFE MODE option. It might just be me and they might have called it something else but I went on the Dell website and they quote SAFE MODE so I dont know what the hell is wrong.

Please any suggestions?

go to run type msconfig

click the boot.ini tab.

then put a tick in the box beside /SAFEBOOT.

Click apply and restart the computer, it will boot into safemode.

When your finished go back into msconfig and uncheck the box.

Put 'safe mode' into your 'Help and Support'.
