Get back from recycle bin delete??

  badgery 07:26 18 Aug 04

Yesterday I had emptied my recycle bin and then realised, today, I needed a small file of photos that I thought I had already copied!
Any way back for me? XP Home is my system.

click here is probaly one of the best free recovery programs, also try Restoratio (type it into google for address) Try not to delete anything or write anything to your computer until you have tried to recver your photos in case you overwrite them.

click here for Restoration, sorry Isobuster is for CD/DVD's but Restoration or Handy recovery should do your job. Good luck.

Thanks rawprawn, will try these and let you know.

Tried Restoration, did a search for the folder title and three results appeared. Chose to copy these to floppy - but when I tried to open them from the disk it appears they may only be 'links' as they are about 850k (there are about 6 digi camera pics in the folder).
If I click on them I get box asking what I wish to use to open them - but no joy whatever I try.
As a novice I am now lost as to what, if anything, I can do!
Had my 'one shot for the day' with Handy and that produced a similar outcome.

Thanks to all.

Try this. I had a free version off a coverdisk from another magazine BUT its $25 works most of the time.
