I have a very old computer.

Does anyone know if this computer can connect to internet via an internet cable as oppose to a phone cable connection?

If so, how can I get this accomplished?

Not sure what you mean by an "internet cable".

If the computer has a network adapter installed, then it can connect to one of a router's LAN ports for internet access.

If you mean that you have Cable broadband (rather than ADSL via the phone line) then, again, if it has a network adapter installed it can connect by ethernet cable to the "Cable Modem".
