Hi Folks, somehow got 2 PUP's on my PC today.
GenericPUP.Z!bn & GenericPUP.z!bg. I am with BT and run thier NetProtect (Mcafee) anitvirus. It identifies the PUP (potentially unwanted program) but it is unable to remove them. It indicates when the files are C:\documents and settings etc etc etc... but when i look there the named files are not present. I have run CCleaner and that has made no difference.

Only other thing i have noticed is i have a program in add / remove programs caller "RON too1 Coochi" have no idea what this is and suspect it is related. I am unable to remove it. it prompts for a code.... but i think this is very suspicious so haven'd antered the code.

Running Win xp. IE7.

Any ideas would be apprecaited.
Malwarebytes / spybot etc... any reccomendations ?

Thanks
