Hi...does anybody know if a Geforce Go 6200 is going to be better than a Geforce Go 5600

  Technotiger 21:20 21 Apr 05

Hi, in my humble opinion the Radeon 9700 or similar is better than either of them.

Cheers.

Mmmm... youre probably right, but the lappy i've got my eyes on has the 6200 whereas i'm currently using a 5700.
I just need to know that i'm not going sideways before I buy.

I think the 5600 is AGP and only supports DirectX 9. 6200 is PCI Express and supports DirectX 9c. So yes, 6200 is faster and probably better in other ways too. I use a 6200 and it's fab :)

Much faster than Radeon 9700.

Me again - ok, I stand corrected it seems.

Cheers.

Cheers to everyone...
I've got some food for thought now so I'm going to do a little more research before I decide.

Cheers
