GARBLED WEB PAGE.

A friend has Win98SE installed on his PC and connected to the internet through a local ISP. My PC is connected through the same ISP. He ia an external student of an overseas university and hence needs to access lecture notes etc on the university website. Whenever he accesses this web page using his PC, it all appears garbled on the screen after having successfully connected to the web site. However, when the same university web page is accessed using my PC, everything is fine and clear. Would someone know why this is happening and what could be the solution? Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by garbled? Is it just a question of text overlapping objects on the page? If so it might be a problem with default font/size in his browser.

I think forum members will need more info.
