Game not loading

Evening ladies and gents. Replaced my ageing TNT2 M64 32MB graphics card yesterday with a slightly newer Geforce2 MX 64MB. Both cards use the same generic drivers from the NVIDIA site, so no worries there. However, now my tiger woods game refuses to load (no messages, just loads up the start screen and then goes back to the desktop), although other games are unaffected. Is this merely a coincidence, or has my new card upset tiger and his pals?
Running 98SE. Never had a problem before with this game.

Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting and then reinstalling it?

maybe the game settings have to be changed to a different setting.

isnt there a conflict between DirectX with these cards?... so reinstalling the drivers and the game should/might resolve?

Tried reinstalling and then rebooting, but to no avail. I also have FIFA 2001 which came in the same set as tiger woods, but that runs fine.
I have directx 9, which is pointless to be honest as the card only supports up to 8.1 as far as I know. Tried fiddling with the settings, but no good. The screen that pops up indicating the game is loading appears, the monitor clicks to change resolution, but then I'm back in windows!
