Without loading drivers and possibly other software DOS does not support USB, as far as I know that is.

ah right, do you know what drivers/software?

cheers

I can only suggest searching on Google for "enabling USB support in DOS", or something similar.

I am not too sure, some seem to be set up to run from a DOS bootdisk to allow access to USB drives for file copying purposes, either way you will have to copy the drivers/software on to whatever medium you intend to boot from, you would then have to edit your config.sys and/or autoexec.bat files to point DOS to where they are and subsequently load them.

Your best bet would be to do some research on Google where, hopefully, you should find links to the relevant downloads and sample entries for the config.sys and autoexec.bat files, sorry I can't be more explicit than that.
