FYI - Firefox... Flash block extension

Does anyone remember the "Flash click to view" extension for Firefox 8.? and earlier? Well it's been updated to cater for the latest versions of Firefox!

If you don't remember it or didn't know about it... then read on....

Do you find most flash animation, especially when used in advertising, pointless and annoying?

If so then install the below flashblock extension.

> click here for the latest flash block extension for Firefox browser.

What it does is replace all flash animations in web sites with a place holder, which when clicked will then play the flash animation. So if you really want to see that 20k flash animation advertising then click it! and if not, don't and save yourself a 20k download!!

I've been waiting for this extension ever since I upgraded my Firefox, and now it's finally here!! hurray!!!

Just thought all you Firefoxers would like to know about it.

I guess all the other Firefox users like the flash advertisements. Ah well each to their own..

I'll mark this as resolved for neatness.

I'm going to give it a ^bump^, as it's so useful (esp. on dialup). Thanks.
