Full scree advert nuisience

In the last couple of days I have began to get full screen popups periodically as I surf the internet. I have used both IE8 and Firefox 3 and I get this on both browsers.

It is not like a normal popup as it opens full screen with a web address just like a new web page. The addresses and adverts are all different.

Not sure why this is happening, I have popup blockers running but they seem not to work with this. I have ran a virus scan using AVG but it found nothing. Anyone any ideas?

As you're using Firefox, do you have the "Adblock Plus" add-on installed to block all unwanted ads?

Anything pointing to CiD? click here . If so download their 'universal uninstaller' in paragraph 5. Download and update Superantispyware. Start in safe mode and run the uninstaller first then full scan of SAS.

That should be paragraph 4, section 5.

I have popup blockers running in both web browsers.

rdave13, I don't recognise CiD but I will d/l the uninstaller anyway. Thanks
