Fujitsu Siemens wireless problem

  sneakerman 20:06 02 Oct 06

I have advised 2 friends to buy an FJ Amilo L7320G laptop from Currys because of the relatively good spec and the low price, the laptop seems very good now that I have it in my hands (I was given it to 'setup' by one of the 2 friends.

Problem is that I cannot connect wirelessly to my wireless router.
Its supposed to have software on the C: drive to install but the the wireless network card is installed and I have switched 'wireless' on and I can see my wireless network - but I cannot connect.

If I do an ipconfig /all the 'Ethernet adaptter Wireless Network Connection' is showing as Media disconnected, it does have a physical address but no IP address (its the same for the wired connection, but if I connect an RJ45 cable it then works)

Any ideas?
