FTP Server Help!!

i use AL FTP on my laptop which allows my friends and family upload their photos and files to my computer ( the ones to big to email ) and i bought another laptop and also purchased a linksys wireless router and now when i give them my ftp adress which is ( click here ) they cant access it so is their a way round this problem and if you know of a better program like AL FTP can you give me the links to the sites please

The IP address 192.168.1.101 is a "Local Area Network" address, allocated by the Linksys router to your PC. If you are running an FTP server in your PC, you need to give them your "public" IP address - the one allocated to the WAN side of your router by the ISP. You then need to set up port forwarding in the router to forward the port used for the FTP server to the address 192.168.1.101

FTP normally uses port 21
