FSB Question

I thinking of purchasing the MSI 875P Neo motherboard with a FSB of 400/533/800 for the processor, and 266/333/400 for the ram. Unfortunately I can't afford to buy the new 800mhz processors, and neither can I afford the new ram (400mhz). Was wondering if it were possible to run a 533 processor with 266 ram, or any such combinations, in anticipation for upgrading in the future.

Buy the fastest RAM (400Mhz) you can afford, it will improve the performance quite a bit over 266Mhz RAM. There will be no compatibility problems with 266 RAM, it just affects performance in demanding tasks such as games and video editing.
