fsb and agp spread spectrum in bios

windows xp home, asus a7n8x-x mobo, 3 ghz barton, 1 gb ddr, sapphire 256mb x800pro graphics and on board sound.

benchmarks seems to be right ie 2003 i get 9500 approx and with 16 pipes activated on x800pro i get 10500 approx.

howevr, looking in bios fsb spread spectrum is set to 0.5% and agp spread spectrum is set to disabled. is this right or should this be set to enabled and higher than 0.5%.

in case it matters mobo is agp x8 and fast writes are off and aperture is set to 128Mb (my choice as 256mb stuttered ut2004)

cheers as always

Pookie, as I understood it, spread spectrum refers to electro magnetic interference and isn't anything to do with graphics performance. Have a look a this click here

Hope this helps, dagwoood.
