Frozen screen after 1.5hrs

When i do a ctrl alt delete, it comes up with a message that the CCapp is not responding,how can i stop this.
i have adjusted the graphies hardware acceleration two cliks , but it still stops working after 2 hrs approx any one know how to cure

From Symantec: "ccApp.exe is the common hosting application that is used for both NAV and NIS. It loads for each user that logs on to Windows 2000/XP. For Windows 98/Me, the application only loads once. ccApp is responsible for calling the different program features of NAV and NIS. For example, in NAV, if Auto-Protect and Email Scanning are enabled, then ccApp makes sure that those programs are running. If ccApp is disabled, then, Auto-Protect and Email Scanning will not run."

ccApp.exe comes with Norton Anti-virus 2003 and Norton Internet Security 2003. Located in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\".
