Frontpage 2000

Working my way through Frontpage 2000 for busy people!
Is their much difference between this version & Office 2007?
If so what are they?

is a web design programme from Microsoft. There were two later versions (FrontPage 2002 and 2003) but no more - it was discontinued in 2006, and replaced by two programmes: Microsoft Expression, which was primarily aimed at web design professionals and Microsoft Sharepoint, which was for business users who want to create Sharepoint applications.

It got slightly confusing; FrontPage 2000 was included with Office 2000 Premium and developer versions, and FrontPage 2002 came with Office XP Professional Special Edition. FrontPage 2003 was not included with any version of Office 2003, it was a standalone product.

Wasn't it FrontPage 2000 that earned itself a bad name for generating shedloads of excessive code?
