Please see also my post 181479. Everest tells me I have PC2700[166] fitted. There is nowhere I can buy PC2700[166] - it's all PC2700[333]???
As barrette's of memory are not adjustable but FSB is, can I adjust my FSB from 166 to 333??? I know my FSB is set at 166 as I see it briefly each time I boot up the PC [on the black and white screen]. Any lighthouse in this sea of techno welcome ;-)

With DDR ram you count the 133 ans double it giving you 266,the speed it is.

Thanks - I wasn't sure. Just confirm for me; you double it because the RAM is "DD"
