Hello there!
Are there any freeware packages which can be used? It needs to a really simple for my school; just so that pupils can draw something like a room layout and print off? Can you help me?

You could also try Blender (a freeware 3d application). Search google for blender and download the latest release for windows. Last I heard though it was a bit buggy but it is free and quite good.
