free software for personal library?

Hi,

I own some 3,000 books, about 400 VHS video cassettes, and about 300 DVD's.

I would like to sort these out by category/isbn number/author or director/movie star/ titles/ etc, and to log any that are borrowed.

I lend quite a few of these out, and lose track of who has what, but more than that I need to be able to search for what I have or do not have. Anyone know of software out there that is free?

I am also thinking of donating my collection to a school in Africa, and I do kow they don't have any sort of cataloging system in their near-empty library.

Thank for any assistance,

RABI

Thank you both.

Skidzy, the click here web site gives a "404" error. I will keep trying, Will check the rest from Google, thanks.

bookdb - for cataloguing your library. Aimed at books, don't know if it'll handle other media. Does handle lending/returns, multiple copies etc.

ylend - for tracking lent items.

All free.
