Can any PC Advisor reader help?

I am sure there was a recent feature about free security software in PC Advisor. I have the back issues but can't find the feature. Can anyone tell me which issue it was in?

Have to disagree with you on AVG, FruitBat. I had it for a while and didn't trust it. Am not familiar with the others.

I would try NOD32 as an AV click here

If you look in these forums you'll find it gets good reviews and it also covers spyware and adware although I did also get Spywareblaster. It's saved me a few times.

If you do try NOD32 just remember that the trial version isn't the full blown product. And I would imagine that holds true for 'any' trial versions of 'any' product.

NOD you have to pay for all the others are FREE

The latest variants of the free anti virus programs listed:- avast! 4, AVG 7 & Antivir 6 are all regularly submitted to Virus Bulletin for testing and all get good pass rates in the 100% tests. They are trustworthy.
