Free, safe and non-porno webhost? Please help!

I'm posting this here because it is not a web-design question.

Can someone point me in the direction of someone who will help me set up a small "information"-type site which, hopefully, will be fun (and not about computer problems, necessarily - more, cooking, actually, and film reviews etc).

All the free-hosters I have contacted will quite happily host me for free on the condition that I carry their porno-link adverts.

I have no especial problems with porno, but it's not me and ads to strange pleasuring devices are not for my site.

Any ideas? Pretty please? At my wit's end.

Buy your domain name from Freeola and they will host a site for free with no such conditions. All they require is that you have a pay as you go local number dial up account with them. I've found them very good. click here

Have a look at click here , it may be what you're after.

I use this myself and, so far, have been unable to find the catch! No adverts at all!

Rioja

Thanks to you both. I'll leave this open a wee bit longer, but I think I pretty much already have what I require.

Thanks again.

Going to start with simple AOL Hometown journal. Be more ambitous later. Stunned by the cost of these things.
