Fragmentation

I have a laptop computer used for business purposes utilising Windows XP Home. It seems to need the defragmentation program running frequently. I notice the need because the machine starts to run slow.

I use a broadband connection in my office but an ISDN line at home. I consequently have two internet connections that I have to swop between. The fragmentation problem seems to be something in connection with this.

Has anyone experienced similar problems or am I just imagining it. Any advice.

Many thanks to you all.
