Forum problem

I have been trying to get onto a christian forum. It was working fine for me last week and now it is not working I have to use a proxy to access it.

I have tried the following.

System restore
Factory settings
Internet explorer, firefox, safari, and opera browsers.

I have asked a number of people to try the site and it working for them.

I have tried firewall, ctrl f5 which forces the page open

Do you think I should take it to the shop for a technician to have a look at.

I dont understand why it works for others and not me

Loaded quickly enough for me.

Try clearing your Temp Files and Cookies in Internet Explorer.

Or run click here in its default settings.

Might they have barred you ? or someone using your IP address?

  jenna76 16:48 22 Oct 08

I dont want it to run slow.

I have already deleted cookies and history and temporary files and still wont work.

Also it lods so far then does not get any further.

As i said it works for other people but not for me we are on virgin media they are our internet providers.

Not loading on my aol toolbar.

I have a hp computer G6000ea I think is the model.

No they have not barred me as I am a mod on there and I can get on through proxy setting.

Run ccleaner as per my link above.

  Noels 16:52 22 Oct 08

It opens ok for me from your link.
Are you trying to open from "Favourites"? those links can sometimes get corrupted and not work.
Try going into Google and enter Christian Forums and see if that will then open for you. If so create a new Favourites link

I am not paying for ccleaner.

I have tried it in google as well

As i have said in a previous post. It works for everyone i speak to and not me.

Why is this happening.

The computer has been set to factory settings.
