I have an old Pent III 500 mhz desktop. I want to format the hard drive and start afresh with it. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? Thanks

Put your W98 0r WME floppy in and reboot choose without CD Rom support on the A:\ Prompt type format c: put a space between the format and the C: ALL DATA WILL BE LOST youw will require your computer recovery disk or W98 or WME DISK AND DRIVER DISKS.
