I am about to perform a system recovery on my Sony PC. My recovery disc gives me the option of a complete system recovery, or just "C", leaving the "D" partion intact.
Do I need to pull the plug on my internet connection before I proceed?
Thanks

I've reinstalled widows a least once a year for as long as I've had PC's and have never pulled the plug yet. Windows usually needs to activate anyway. I not saying my way is the right way,but I have never had a problem.

Because I tweak to much and dabble in regedit, I'm forever trying different hacks etc.I keep a PC just for the purposes I've just mentioned, its a slipstreamed operation so not a problem.

Leave D alone only C will have windows then any data that you have saved to D will still be intact, so anything that you don't won't to loose move to D
