Form template in Microsoft Word

Some time ago, I made a form in Microsoft Word, using form fields, and then protected the document, so that users could only fill the form in, without destroying the layout.

I need to make some changes to the form, but I can't remember the password! I've spent ages trying to find a tool online that will recover it for me, but there are many that promise to do so and then just don't work.

I wondered if anyone could recommend a specific tool that might help me? Ideally, I want something freeware.

You could try SIW click here then look under secrets, in the left-hand column.

Or - click here then after clicking on Configuration, click on the Keys icon to reveal Passwords.
