A friend has forgotten his password for Content Advisor in Internet Options (IE5) and would like to know how to change or delete so he can connect to the internet.

Run regedit , go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsCurrentVersion\Policies\Ratings

Select the icon called "Key" in the right-hand pane and press "delete" on your keyboard , close registry editor and reboot .

Next , open IE and select TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>CONTENT , click the disable button , Click on OK without entering anything when prompted for a password , Click on OK when warned that Content Advisor has been disabled , you should now be un-restricted .

My friend says many thanks to cycoze, it has saved him (me) re-installing IE5. Much thanks again, Ragnar.
