Forgotten Bios Password

Brought a machine off ebay that was listed as having a faulty screen. I have sorted that fault out, it was the ribbon cable had worked its way lose but when i powered it up i was greeted with another nice surprise.

The bugger only has a bios password on it and the seller does not know what it is.

Now i no u can clear a bios password on a desktop by switching the jumpers around, but can you do this on a laptop?

Or can anybody suggest anything to help me crack this swine!!???
Laptop is a Fuji Siemens amilo pi1536.

CMOS battery and reset jumper are often located under the keyboard on laptops.

If it has a floppy drive and is able to boot from it then try a program called KillCMOS click here
Put in on a basic boot floppy, boot from the floppy and run the program.

If no success from the above try SKY_FOX

Alternatively have a look here for some possible answers click here

SKY_FOX being the 'backdoor' CMOS password for Siemens systems

SKY_FOX does not work.

Infact it is not a BIOS password it is asking for, it is asking for a password to even access the boot menu so i guess they have put a boot up hard drive password on it too!!!!!???
