I have recently obtained and installed a Wireless Router (D-Link) to serve both a desktop and laptop pc. Only problem I have is that both Slimbrowser and IE (NOT Firefox which I am using now) come up with ...

Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.

....on the desktop pc where the router is installed, the laptop has no such problems.

Anyone any clues as to what I can do? Thanx.

Check the access control list in the desktop's client firewall, then check the router's firewall entries for the desktop (listed by name of MAC).

Ahem.. That should read name *or* MAC. Just in case I caused confusion with that typo.
